A Trip to Austin
03Nov09
A recent excursion to Austin made me realize how wonderful the world can be. It had the homeless, sure, but they are people too. I learned a lot from the conference the four of us attended. It was a large media conference that was taught by some of the best teachers Texas had to offer. Their experiences showed the youth -including me- how journalism and writing has evolved and how to adapt to these circumstances.
Hopefully, I’ll have some pictures up soon enough to show you the wonder that is Austin, TX. Feel free to comment about your own experiences in this city whether good or bad, strange or normal, fun or boring. I may even reconnect with some of you that actually attended.

Well, you certainly loved the trip. I always visit the blogs of everyone who makes a comment on mine! LOL! And your trip was rather interesting to me. Part of my growning up years were in Austin – a looong time back. It already was an interesting place, even before its huge explosion of growth…
I live in the panhandle of Texas now, and have for many years. But Austin is a place that has “stuck” with me. That’s for sure!
Looks like you have an interesting blog started…
Thank you for the comment! Yeah, I really enjoyed the city. It was a wonderful sight to behold and I’m glad I had the opportunity to go. I don’t go traveling too often (unless I go to see my brother in MD) but when I do, I take a ton of pictures. I totaled close to 1,000 photos from this 4-5 day trip. Haha. So I should have PLENTY to talk about on this blog.
Thanks again for the comment! Your blog is a very interesting one and since I have just started this WordPress blog, I will most likely be visiting your blog often. Look for more of my comments lol
